OSK Ombak Phase 1 sells out, Phase 2 launch accelerated

KUANTAN: OSK Property announced that Phase 1 of OSK Ombak was fully taken up within three months of its unveiling, prompting the developer to bring forward the launch of Phase 2 by 18 months.
The strong take-up reflects buyers’ confidence in OSK Ombak’s freehold beachfront location, fully furnished offering, resort-inspired facilities and flexible layouts, as well as OSK Property’s track record in Kuantan through Swiss Garden Resort Residences and TimurBay Seafront Residences.
OSK Ombak is a RM690mil Mediterranean-inspired development spanning 5.99 acres along Balok Beach. Comprising three serviced apartment towers and curated retail units, it will offer 1,274 fully furnished residences ranging from studios to three-bedroom layouts, including dual-key configurations.
“The full take-up of Phase 1 within three months is a strong endorsement of OSK Ombak and a clear reflection of buyers’ confidence in the development,” said OSK Property chief executive officer Chu Wai Lune.
“This has given us the confidence to bring forward Phase 2. Buyers recognise not only the appeal of its beachfront setting but also the strength of an established coastal destination supported by our two earlier successful developments in Kuantan. OSK Ombak offers a compelling combination of lifestyle enjoyment, flexible ownership and long-term investment potential,” added Chu.
OSK Ombak’s potential is further supported by Kuantan’s tourism, industrial and infrastructure growth, including the Malaysia–China Kuantan Industrial Park, Gebeng industrial corridor, Kuantan Port and East Coast Rail Link.
The development is designed to achieve GreenRE Silver certification through energy-efficient systems, water-saving features and environmentally responsible materials.
Targeted for completion in 2030, OSK Ombak combines beachfront living, resort-inspired facilities and flexible accommodation within an established coastal corridor.
