Sime Darby Property dominates StarProperty Awards 2024 with 2nd consecutive All-Stars title

ARA DAMANSARA: Sime Darby Property Bhd was recognised as the nation’s best-performing property developer with its second consecutive All-Stars win at the StarProperty Awards 2024 – Real Estate Developer edition. The group won a total of 10 awards including the Readers’ Choice Award for Most Preferred Developer and Newsmaker of the Year, reflecting the public’s confidence in the Sime Darby Property brand. 

“We are honoured to be acknowledged among esteemed peers. The awards reflect our drive to elevate the real estate industry in Malaysia with world-class developments through our expertise and guided by sound governance,” said Sime Darby Property group managing director Datuk Azmir Merican. 

He added: “We will continue to meet the evolving needs of homebuyers to commercial and  industrial players with innovative and sustainable developments, in line with our Purpose to be a  Value Multiplier for People, Businesses, Economies and the Planet.” 

This year, Sime Darby Property’s Serenia City was honoured with The Business Estate Award for the Best Industrial Park Development category and The Leading Low-Density Award. Bukit Jelutong was awarded The Luxury Award for the Best Luxury Property Development (Landed) category, presented for the development of world-class architectural design and top-notch interior designs.

The group’s Bandar Bukit Raja secured The Earth Conscious Award for The Best Sustainable  Development (Township), demonstrating its commitment to upholding the highest standards of sustainability. In addition, Bandar Universiti Pagoh was awarded The Southern Star Award – Best  Southern Malaysia Development, with Ara Damansara receiving The Family-Friendly Award, Best  Family-Centric Development (High Rise). The innovative Parc by SJCC was bestowed with The Placemaker Award, recognising Sime Darby Property’s role in creating vibrant and dynamic spaces. 

The StarProperty Awards 2024 – Real Estate Developer Edition, offciated by Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Min, celebrates property developers who have contributed to the growth of the nation’s real estate industry. It recognises developments that build society, including landmark buildings, ecologically sustainable initiatives, and integrated townships.
