No impact from diesel subsidy rationalisations, says UEM Sunrise
KUALA LUMPUR (May 24): The end of the diesel fuel subsidy would not impact UEM Sunrise’s performance and service delivery, the developer assured stakeholders in a media release yesterday.
“In light of the recent announcement by the YAB Prime Minister concerning the diesel subsidy rationalisation, UEM Sunrise Bhd understands the concerns from our stakeholders regarding whether these changes would affect our operations and services.”
It clarified “that as a property developer, our operations, including those of our contractors, have only been utilising diesel fuel at a commercial rate. Hence, the removal of the diesel fuel subsidy would not impact our performance and service delivery”.
UEM Sunrise said it remains “dedicated to providing high-quality products and services to our customers”.
“Additionally, we continue to support government efforts to improve and strengthen the overall economy.
“These initiatives are vital for sustainable economic growth, and we pledge our commitment to contributing positively to these goals,” it added.
