Berjaya Asset officially unveils Times Square 2

KUALA LUMPUR (May 20): Berjaya Times Square Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Berjaya Assets Bhd, officially revealed its luxury serviced apartment development Times Square 2 on Saturday (May 18).  
Times Square 2 is located along Jalan lmbi, adjacent to Berjaya Times Square and Bukit Bintang City Centre.
Tan Tee Ming, executive director of Berjaya Times Square Sdn Bhd (BTS) told the media that the project will be launched over two phases. The first phase, which consists of 375 units, has been 50% sold so far.
“The project will be launched over two phases, the first phase has 375 units and the rest will be launched in the second phase, as soon as the first phase is sold out,” said Tan.
Featuring 629 serviced apartment units in a 41-storey tower, Times Square 2 is designed to complement Berjaya Times Square, which also houses a shopping mall, serviced apartments, an indoor theme park, a hotel and offices.
Times Square 2 will offer units ranging from 488 sq ft, 1-bedroom units to 1,356 sq ft, 3-bedroom units.

According to a report by The Edge Malaysia, the selling price for the first phase starts at RM1,500 psf.
“Designed to cater to city dwellers, both local and foreigners who are looking for capital gains, we placed a great deal of emphasis in providing a practical and functional layout such as having a hackable wall for the small unit sizes as an option to combine both units, a dual key design to offer flexibility in renting out the suite to assist with mortgage and ensuite bathrooms that provide convenience and prevent the bathroom rush in the morning,” added Tan in a media release.
Facilities provided are a 40m infinity pool, sauna room, viewing point, herb garden, barbeque area, pets’ play area, multipurpose hall, playground, garden walk, outdoor gym 15 retail units, which will include a rooftop speciality restaurant lot and a drive-through.
Times Square 2 will enjoy good connectivity — public transportation with direct connections to the KL Monorail, LRT and MRT Lines providing transportation throughout Kuala Lumpur City Centre. There is also access to highways including Maju Expressway (MEX), SMART Tunnel and Setiawangsa-Pantai Expressway (SPE).

“We’re excited to unveil our new property, promising exceptional value for investment in a prime location with modern amenities, and attractive pricing. This project carries a GDV of RM625 million and I am confident that we will sell out by end of this year,” said Syed Ali Shahul Hameed, CEO of Berjaya Land Bhd who was also present at the event. Syed Ali is also Berjaya Times Square Sdn Bhd executive director.
“With convenience in mind, there will be two overhead bridges that will connect Berjaya Times Square and BBCC, providing accessibility to The lmbi Monorail Station & Hang Tuah LRT Station,” Syed Ali added.
