PETALING JAYA: LBS Bina Group Bhd group executive chairman Tan Sri Lim Hock San has been conferred the World Outstanding Entrepreneur Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his contributions to business leadership and entrepreneurship.

In conjunction with the recognition, Lim was also appointed co-chairman of the Global Board of Advisers of the World Business Chamber (WBC) where he will help strengthen international business collaboration and promote sustainable economic growth.

The award was presented during a ceremony at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur, attended by Melaka Governor Tun Mohd Ali Rustam and former chief justice Tun Zaki Azmi.

Commenting on the recognition, Lim said the honour reflects the collective efforts of the group’s employees, partners and stakeholders.

“I am deeply honoured to receive this award and to be entrusted with this new responsibility. This recognition is not only a personal milestone but also a testament to the dedication and collective efforts of the entire LBS family, our valued partners and stakeholders,” he said.

He added that his new role with the WBC would provide opportunities to foster stronger international collaboration, encourage sustainable business growth and create long-term value while supporting LBS’s commitment to building thriving communities.
