PUNCAK ALAM: AME Elite Consortium Bhd (AME Elite) and KLK Land Sdn Bhd have unveiled a RM1.3bil premier industrial park in Coalfields, Selangor, signalling its entry into Klang Valley’s emerging northern industrial corridor.

Spanning 151.2 acres, i-Park@Coalfields is helmed by Central Gateway Development Sdn Bhd, a 60:40 joint venture between AME Elite and KLK Land. The collaboration pairs AME Elite’s expertise in developing integrated industrial ecosystems with KLK Land’s township master planning experience. 

The partnership establishes a new landmark development adjacent to the Coalfields township, marking the arrival of AME Elite’s i-Park industrial ecosystem to Selangor and creating a future-ready industrial destination.

“We aim to position the development as a premier investment destination for multinational and local companies in high-value industries, including advanced manufacturing, semiconductors and electronics, automotive, medical and pharmaceuticals, tech-driven sectors and logistics,” said AME Elite executive director and group chief executive officer Dylan Tan, who is also Central Gateway Development director.

Phase 1, which is now open for registration, will offer 34 units of 1.5-storey semi-detached factories that come in built-ups of 10,002 sq ft and 10,447 sq ft with selling prices starting from RM650 psf. Phase 2 will offer several other options such as detached lots, built-to-suit parcels from one acre and above, a commercial hub and a recreational park. The entire park is expected to be completed in seven to eight years. 

On the expansion to Selangor, Tan said the project reflects both AME Elite’s and KLK Land’s commitment to creating long-term value for businesses and contributing to the state’s economic growth. 

Fronting the LATAR Expressway, i-Park@Coalfields offers connectivity to major highways such as the North-South Expressway and West Coast Expressway. The proximity to Port Klang and Subang Airport within a 30km radius strengthens the park’s appeal to export-driven businesses.

As part of AME Elite’s award-winning i-Park series, Tan said the park integrates a commercial and lifestyle hub with EV-ready infrastructure. It prioritises environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles and resilience through dedicated management and an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered security management system to support round-the-clock, plug-and-play operations. 

Tan added that given AME Elite’s ESG-centric direction towards its developments, the company might venture into East Malaysia, particularly Sarawak which has vast resources including hydroelectric power.
