Avaland says Avalon Phase 1 fully taken up

KUALA LUMPUR (July 16): Avaland Bhd (KL:AVALAND) announced that Phase 1 of Avalon, comprising 166 units of Balinese-inspired double-storey homes located within its Cybersouth township development, is fully taken up.
The RM151 million gross development value (GDV) Phase 1 is part of Avalon’s broader 25-acre development, which marks the final landed residential component within the Cybersouth masterplan, according to a press statement issued on Tuesday.
Avalon will feature a total of 343 units across three home types, with built-up areas ranging from 2,004 to 2,454 sq ft and prices starting from RM784,600 to RM1.02 million.
“Avalon complements Cybersouth’s masterplan by enhancing liveability and sustainability through design innovation and craftsmanship. The strong response to Phase 1 reflects buyers’ confidence in our commitment to purposeful, value-driven development,” said Avaland chief operating officer Aw Sei Cheh in the statement, adding that the registration for Phase 2 will open in the coming weeks.
Avaland has launched five major projects in 2024 with a combined GDV of RM1.8 billion and is targeting a further RM1.3 billion in launches this year.
The developer has delivered 2,169 units to date this year, with a total GDV of RM1.7 billion.
Recent land acquisitions include a 2.2-acre parcel in Section 13, Petaling Jaya, and a 3.2-acre freehold site in central Kuala Lumpur, together expected to contribute RM1.2 billion in GDV for upcoming mixed-use developments.
