KUALA LUMPUR (May 16): Melati Ehsan Group, through its member Bayu Mantap Sdn Bhd, unveiled the sales gallery for Khaya Residences on Friday.
Officiating the unveiling event were Melati Ehsan Holdings Bhd (KL:MELATI) founder and executive chairman Tan Sri Yap Suan Chee, two former Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) (KL:TENAGA) chairmen Tan Sri Leo Moggie and Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid, along with Tenaga Global Business Solution head of operations Nurmurniza Md Zakaria and TNB head of property services department Noorleza Abd Jalil.
According to a press release at the event, Khaya Residences will comprise 795 serviced apartment units in a 61-storey L-shaped block.
The units, sized from 630 to 2,427 sq ft, are available in 1- to 3+1-bedroom configurations. There are exclusive Signature X-Suites, which come with private terraces, with built-ups of up to 876 sq ft.
The development is located next to the recently completed 43-storey Menara TNB Bangsar on the junction of Jalan Bangsar and Jalan Pantai Baharu. The Gold-certified Green Building Index office building has a net floor area of 520,000 sq ft.
At the event, Mahdzir said, “This is a successful collaboration between the government and the private sector. It takes time but finally it follows through.”
Melati Ehsan executive director Yap Wei Sam noted in the press release that the goal of Khaya Residences is to assimilate a prestigious living experience by combining elements of luxury within a serene environment.

Khaya Residences will come with facilities such as a 50-metre lap pool, Jacuzzi, children’s pool, gymnasium and pickleball court.
It is within easy reach to major highways such as the Federal Highway, East-West Link Expressway, Kerinchi Link and New Pantai Expressway.
